Hi woffer and tig2

woff those are very powerful and thought provoking scriptures and should not be over looked by anyone who is making a serious study of the Bible if they are making an effort to find salvation.
I have often pondered how Jehovah inspired the writers to use the exact word to get his point across to man to benefit him.
I have to admit when I was very young I would look at the Bible and tell myself that this book was to hard to learn, but as an adolesant is what helped me most was the home Bible study.......by the time we went through the Paradise Lost book my curiosity was hatched and the desire to learn more was well on its way. by the time I was twenty I married out of the Faith and my life went into a tail spin and it took quite a few years to get my life back under control. I'm still on the fence. but I am struggling to get back right.

The Bible really is a large treasure of knowledge and should not be overlooked by anyone. If you do not have Jehovah in your heart, you will not find that narrow path to life.
Jehovah said Himself at Exodus 9:16 which reads.......But, in fact, for this cause I have kept you in existence, for the sake of showing you my power and in order to have my name declared in all the earth. .......Jehovah is fully in charge.......I know this and I know that He will help anyone whos heart is in the right place.

This bears heavy on my mind all the time.......Psalms 113:3 From the rising of the sun until its setting Jehovah's name is to be praised.

What I really like and love is some of the events that ocurred during the time of the Apostle Pauls life and some of the things he had to go through to get the message of the Way to life. It seems he took quite a few beatings for Jesus' sake. I really like Acts 22, when he went before the rulers of that time and gave what I think was the most straight-forward talk filled with wisdom and courage on his part.......when he spoke everyone listened intently to everything he said......., even the Roman ruler said at Acts 26: 28 But A-grip'pa said to Paul: In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian. Paul was full of Jehovah's spirit, led along by Jesus himself. Paul was a valiant speaker to bring forth the truths of Jesus and Christianity.

There are the other Prophets to that I hold in high esteem, Elijah, Moses, Rulers like King David and King Solomon.

I do have many favorite scriptures
